The rest of this page is the detail behind those four points.
This policy describes how S Charles Consulting doing business as Falcon Quality ("Falcon Quality," "I," "me," "my"), collects, uses and protects personal information. It applies to falconquality.com, the gap analysis assessment, the online course, consulting calls, and email you receive from me.
Falcon Quality is a one-person practice based in Danville, California. When this policy says "I," it means exactly that.
Like almost every website, falconquality.com records technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the page that referred you. This comes from the hosting platform and is used to keep the site working and understand, in aggregate, how people use it.
Card and payment details go directly to my payment processor, Stripe. I never see or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of that information is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
Please don't send me Social Security numbers, health information, or anything similarly sensitive. None of my services need it.
If you create a gap analysis account, book a call, or buy something, I may send you occasional email about quality management, changes to the standards, and my courses and services. This includes a short series of follow-up emails after you take the assessment.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and one click removes you. You can also email [email protected]. Unsubscribing from marketing doesn't stop email you need about something you've bought, such as a booking confirmation or course login.
Every email identifies me as the sender and includes my business address, in line with the CAN-SPAM Act.
I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it for anyone else's advertising.
I use a small number of service providers to run the business. They process your information on my behalf, only to provide their service to me:
| Provider | What they do for me |
|---|---|
| GoHighLevel / Course Creator 360 | Hosts the website, course and booking calendar; holds contact records; processes course and consulting purchases |
| Supabase | Stores gap analysis accounts, answers and scores |
| Brevo | Delivers email, including your corrective action plan |
| Stripe | Processes payments |
| Zoom | Hosts video consulting calls |
| AI provider | Generates the AI assistant's answers, when an assistant is offered. I'll name the provider here once the assistant is live. |
I may also disclose information when the law requires it, such as in response to a subpoena; to protect my rights, your safety or others'; or to a buyer if the business is ever sold, in which case this policy would continue to apply to what was collected under it.
Your gap analysis answers describe the state of your quality system, and I treat them as confidential. They are visible to you and to me, and to nobody else.
They are never shared with a registrar, certification body or accreditation organization — including the certification body I work with as a contract auditor. I keep my auditing work and my consulting work strictly separate, and I never audit a company I've consulted for.
I plan to offer AI assistants to help answer questions — one inside the course, and possibly a chat assistant on the website. They may not be available when you read this. When they are, this section applies.
Please don't enter other people's personal information, or anything highly sensitive, into an assistant. Its answers are generated automatically and can be wrong; the Terms of Service explain how to treat them.
The site uses cookies and your browser's local storage for things that make it work: keeping you signed in to the assessment, remembering your progress, and running the booking calendar. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies, though the assessment won't be able to keep you signed in if you do.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no agreed standard for how websites should respond, the site doesn't change its behavior when it receives one. I don't track you across other websites.
I keep your account and assessment results for as long as your account exists, so you can come back to them. I keep records of purchases for as long as tax and accounting rules require. If you ask me to delete your information, I'll delete it from my own systems and ask my service providers to do the same, except where I'm legally required to keep something.
Information is sent over encrypted connections. Assessment accounts are protected so that each person can see only their own answers, and passwords are never stored in readable form. Access to the systems that hold your information is limited to me.
No system is perfectly secure, and I can't promise that yours never will be exposed. If a breach affects your personal information, I'll tell you promptly and in line with California law.
Wherever you live, you can ask me to:
Email [email protected]. There's no charge. I may need to confirm your identity before acting, so that I don't hand your information to someone else, and I'll respond within 30 days.
California residents have the rights described in section 11, which I extend to everyone. I don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and I don't disclose it to third parties for their own direct marketing.
This policy is posted in accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. If you have a question about your rights under California law, contact me at the address in section 14.
Children. The site and services are for businesses and working professionals. They aren't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given me information, tell me and I'll delete it.
Other countries. Falcon Quality is based in the United States, and my service providers may process information in the United States and in other countries. If you use the site from outside the US, your information will be transferred and processed there.
Changes. If I change this policy, I'll update the effective date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how I use information I already hold, I'll tell people with accounts by email before it takes effect.
